Trex Company Announces Initial Public Offering
WINCHESTER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1999--Trex Company, Inc. (NYSE:TWP), manufacturer of Trex® Easy Care Decking(tm), today announced that its initial public offering of 4,103,000 shares of common stock has been priced at $10.00 per share.
The shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ``TWP''. The underwriter of the offering is J.C. Bradford & Co.
Trex is a splinter-free decking alternative that requires no stains or sealants for protection. It has been widely used for residential and commercial decking, large scale boardwalks, nature trails, marina docks, playgrounds and landscaping. Currently, Trex Company has its headquarters office and a manufacturing plant in Winchester, VA and is constructing a new 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Fernley, Nevada.
