Trex Company Sponsors 1999 BUILDER Fall Tour In Nine Cities
WINCHESTER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 25, 1999--Trex Company, Inc. (NYSE:TWP), manufacturer of Trex(R) Easy Care Decking(TM), today announced it is once again meeting with builders face-to-face as a sponsor of the 1999 BUILDER Magazine's Fall Tour in nine cities in the U.S. and Canada, hosted by Al Trellis, celebrated building expert. Trellis coaches more than 6,000 builders each year through his seminars entitled, "Building the Winning Team" to help them improve efficiency and profitability. He also authors the "Ask Al" column for BUILDER Magazine. Trex Company was very successful in introducing Trex(R) Easy Care Decking(R) as a value-added decking lumber to major building firms across the country in last year's Fall Tour. Trex(R) decking is a splinter-free decking lumber that never needs stains or sealants to keep its long-lasting good looks.
The Fall Tour seminars feature the latest, cutting-edge products and trends in the building industry. Trex Company joins an elite group of sponsors of this major builder event, such as Kohler, Andersen Windows, Sub-Zero and Velux. Representatives from sponsoring companies will have an opportunity to meet with the builders and distribute product literature. The seminars run from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, followed by a luncheon.
Seminars have been held in Portland, OR, on Oct. 13 and Calgary, Alberta on Oct. 14 and Kansas City, MO on Oct. 21. Additional 1999 BUILDER Fall seminars will be held in Columbus, OH on Oct. 26; Milwaukee, WI, on Oct 27; Minneapolis, MN on Oct. 28; Orlando, FL on Nov. 16; Baton Rouge, LA on Nov. 17 and Houston, TX on Nov. 18.
